Little Hero's Swim Academy are hosting an event at Prince Alfred Park Pool on Saturday 11th March from 12pm - 5pm.
Swim4Kids is an event committed to providing water safety awareness and drowning prevention education to parents and carers and the community as a whole, to help reduce the drowning statistics in Australia.
Little Hero's target of 400 laps is an initiative to raise money for swimming lessons for children with special needs. Little Hero's believe that education and effective swim lessons are the best preventive measure to drowning and its a known statistic that for every fatal drowning, there are 4 non fatal drownings that result in permanent disability. The need for education and water safety is crucial.
