Updates to health and safety measures at the City of Sydney Leisure Centres

Attention Customers,

In response to the recent COVID-19 outbreak linked to the Northern Beaches cluster, all City of Sydney Leisure Centres will be implementing necessary health and safety measures.

Measures that will be enforced as of Tuesday 22 December, include;

  • 1 person per 4sqm social distancing rule in all dry facilities. Maximum capacities across all Leisure Centres will be updated to reflect this
  • Lap Lane Capacities
    • 25m lane = max. 5 swimmers per lane
    • 50m lane = max. 10 swimmers per lane
    • Recreation Lane = max. 15 people per lane
  • Leisure Pools, Programme Pool and Hydro pool will also enforce the 1 person per 4sqm social distancing rule, maximum capacities will be updated respectively.
  • Mandatory temperature checks are required upon entry
  • Swim’n’Go Policy remains in place at all centres
  • Check-in procedures will continue, using the NSW Service App. For more information about this procedure click here.

Our health and sanitisation practises remain in place, including, increased cleaning schedules and several sanitizer stations positioned around each centre.

Our primary continues to be the health and safety of our customers, our colleagues, and our community, who attend the City’s world-class aquatic and fitness centres.

We can’t wait to see you back at the pool and in the gym soon.

Regards,

Centre Management
